The Gran Turismo series is developed by Polyphony Digital and produced by Kazunori Yamauchi. GT6 I would say is on par with GT4 but my opinion may change the more I play GT4.Gran Turismo 5 Prologue booth at Games Convention 2008 GT4 is growing on me now after replaying it because you can really recreate the feel of the Group B rally era and just the shear amount of cars and the fact it is in HD. The later games all felt more sterile, and I never much cared for GT4. It was a big part of my childhood, but I thought it was the most fun as well. Overall, GT3 was my favorite game of the series. I actually didn’t mind this, I’d rather have the choice to drive a car even if it didn’t look amazing than not be able to drive it at all. One thing people always complain about for both games is like 80 or 90% of cars were standard models carried over from GT4 with no interior, etc. They polished up the lighting and shadows, engine sounds were better but not great, but the biggest thing they improved were the tire grip and suspension models. I thought this one felt less “sterile” if that made sense. I don’t think many people played 6 but it felt much more like a traditional Gran Turismo game. But the main GT mode felt lacking and they had a lot of stuff you could only do in special events and didn’t carry over to multiplayer. They also had lunar rover missions which were tons of fun with less gravity and all that.

The sound wasn’t great and the load times were long, but there were some neat features like racing Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari F1 car and the closest they have ever gotten to rally simulation. GT5 took a really long time to develop and they crammed in a ton of features. There are actually 10 lol but that’s for another day.
